Residential Services
North Shore Locksmiths can provide you with the security measures you need to keep out unwanted intruders. One of the best ways to achieve this is to have quality locks installed to the doors and windows of your home. A burglar will always look for an easy entry point into a property. By simply having deadlocks installed to the doors and windows of your home you will greatly reduce the opportunity an intruder will be given. It's also nice to know that once we finish an installation at your property we pride ourselves in leaving your home as we found it; we clean up our own mess.
If you lose your keys or have them stolen, the best security measure you can take is to have your existing locks 're-keyed'. This is a cheaper alternative to replacing your locks. Re-keying your locks will mean that any existing keys that have been misplaced will no longer work, giving you the peace of mind that any unwanted callers cannot breach the security of your property.
Should you ever find yourself locked out of your home (which can happen to anyone at any time), we can gain access to your property with the use of professional locksmithing tools. It can often be a frustrating and inconvenient situation to find yourself in, but we will do our best to arrive in the shortest amount of time possible, in order to get you back inside.

Commercial Services
North Shore Locksmiths are able to provide security solutions for your business premises. Whether this be the installation of additional locks to your doors and windows, or simply re-keying existing locks to nullify unwanted entry by previous key-holders, we can tailor a solution to fit your needs.
A cost-effective way of controlling the keys to your property is to have installed a Restricted Key system. As members of the New Zealand Locksmiths Association we have access to the NZ2 Restricted Security Key profile. Once your Restricted Key system is in place, only North Shore Locksmiths can produce additional copies of your keys, and only with permission from the authorised signatories you assign to your system. Other locksmiths or key-cutters will not be able to copy the keys to your premises. This means that when a member of your staff returns the key at the end of their tenure you can be sure it is the only one that has been in their possession. Each Restricted Key is stamped with a serial number so you can track which employee has which key assigned to them.
Master-keying of your premises is also achievable, for both Restricted and non-Restricted keys. If you have multiple locks that accept the same key profile then it is possible to create a master-key system, allowing higher-rank keys to open multiple doors and lower-rank keys to operate individual doors. This can reduce the number of keys each person requires to access different parts of your premises. Ultimately, each person could effectively need only the one key.
In addition to locks and keys, we can also install hydraulic door-closers which allow control of doors that may require automatic closure, for instance fire doors or staff-only accessed doors.

Property Manager Services
At North Shore Locksmiths we pride ourselves in our ability to cater to the needs of Property Managers. We appreciate how time-consuming it can be for Property Management staff to organize trades-people to attend homes in order to do maintenance work, at a time that is convenient with your tenants. Having spent years servicing this industry we can make this element of property maintenance that little bit easier.
After receiving a works order from you we will contact your tenants directly and arrange an appointment with them at a suitably convenient time. Once the job is complete we can arrange to deliver any keys required to your office. We also offer preferential rates to Property Management offices (certain conditions apply).
We also understand that certain rental properties can require more lock maintenance than others; for instance, with short-term tenants moving on it is safer for any future tenants to know they are the only residents with keys to that property. A simple re-keying of the locks can ensure your new tenants are happy in the knowledge they have the only keys to their new home.
At North Shore Locksmiths we can cater to all your lock requirements and maintenance issues. Should the need arise, we are also able to attend any eviction you may have, should this unfortunate incident occur.
